MERGE Electric Fleet Solutions announces a new pilot program in the Permian Basin area

MERGE is launching pilot programs in the Permian - offering two Ford Lightnings for 31 days and a fleet assessment to oilpatch customers.

“A pilot program like this one will help oil and gas companies focus on the routes, drivers and vehicles in their fleets that are ready to be fully electric.” – CEO Glen Stancil.

MERGE Electric Fleet Solutions launched a pilot program for Permian Basin oil and natural gas operators and oilfield services companies curious about fleet electrification to try out fully electric pickup trucks. The pilot program is the first of its kind for the region and will enable companies to try electric and determine how EVs will meet drivers’ needs to allow the oilfield to confidently electrify. Beginning in October 2022, qualified companies in the Permian Basin will be able to sign up for two F-150 Lightnings for a 31-day rental, which includes access to charging locations in the Midland-Odessa area.
