Diego Kuschnir is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Pickering Energy Partners (PEP) where he helps to lead the effort in the Energy Transition and Sustainability sectors.
Prior to PEP, he managed Solanas Capital, a global Energy Transition and Sustainability focused fund based out of New York City. He was the division head for Solanas Capital and a Managing Director within the Jefferies Group. He was previously a Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners LP (former Tudor Pickering Holt & Co), where he was the portfolio manager for the TPH funds that were the predecessor funds to the Solanas Capital funds. Prior to teaming up with Tudor Pickering Holt & Co, he Co-Founded EQC, an energy infrastructure-focused hedged equity strategy. Prior to that, he was a Director within the Barclays Capital Energy Investment Banking Division, focused across the Energy and Utility sectors.
He received his MBA from Columbia University and a BA in Economics from Haverford College.
Diego holds US, Argentine, and Italian nationality, and has native fluency in English, Italian, and Spanish. He lives in NYC with his wife and two daughters.
